Safe plastic cups?

My 11.5 month old twins do well with sippy cups, but prefer the large glasses that DH and I use (oh yeah, anything mom or dad has must be special, right?). I let each of them drink out of a glass only when I'm the one holding it. I'd like to purchase some open plastic cups that I could let them hold, but haven't been able to find anything online about safe plastic cups. There are tons of resources for baby bottles and sippy cups without BPA, phalates or PVC but I haven't found anything for kid or adult plastic cups; do any of you have recommendations for regular cups that don't contain any of those chemicals?

I've been wondering the same thing! If you find any, let me know. In the meantime, I'm still looking........

 

These IKEA tumblers are made of polypropylene, which makes them BPA-free (also dishwasher safe).

Here are some stainless steel sets for those who prefer to avoid plastic all together.

Those metal cups remind me of the olden days. Before plastic, kids drank from tin or silver cups.

Thank you - that's where I buy all of my sippy cups already. I wish they sold regular cups too!

We went to Ikea today & picked up a few of those cups. WHAT a deal!!!

 

I use the IKEA plates, cups, bowls, everything. I am already going through my 2nd sets. Just toss them once in a while and buy new ones. I use them in the microwave too, even though it says you can't.
