First, I know two months isn't long for those of you whose partners are gone for a longer time, working elsewhere or deployed. Or for ou single mothers out there, whom I respect more than anything!

This morning drove DH to the airport' we won't see him til mid-july (and then he might have to go to nepal in august!) It's so frustrating, because we were just getting to a point where we were dealing well with a lot of the stresses of our lives (living in my sister's house because he's travelling so much these six months), uncertainty about where we'll be living when he returns, being in someone else's space, etc.).

And of course, when he gets back the girls who are turning FOURTEEN MONTHS this week, will be completely different little people. And communication is difficult because of the time difference, so when we CAN talk he's either wiped from a whole days' work or i'm crazy starting the day and dealing with two active toddlers who are more and more independent every day (except when they MUST be held by me - at the same time!)

So; could be a lot worse, I could be on my own, he could be someplace truly dangerous, but- still sad.

    :-(

    Big hug!
I don't really have any words of advice, but know that we will all be here for you to vent to.

:hug99: My DH is gone almost every week, but gets to be home on the weekends. It's tough, but not as tough as some have it. It gets easier, and you find a routine, and get more comfortable doing everything by yourself. But it still stinks. :hug99: Hope the time passes quickly while he is gone!

Oh Jordari, it is a sad day! Of course, you will be fine as you are one of the strongest, wisest moms that I "know" on this forum; however, traveling DH's are not for the faint of heart. We will all be here to keep you company...big hugs! Two months is a long time and I can only imagine how you must be feeling. Your girls are so lucky to have such a wonderful mom, and dad !!! I can't imagine how he must be feeling but he is so lucky to have your support and the girls love to keep him company while he is away.

You are so strong! These last many months of traveling and being displaced and all the crazy changes have sure been rough. Hopefully this fall will bring some more stability and calm for all of you. I'll be thinking of you!
