Sad but hilarious bath incident...

I decided I was going to take a nice bath today to relax and to take some of the pressure off the aching back. I'm part of the grumbling 32+ week crowd with all the aches and pains.

So I add the oatmeal bath stuff (really itchy tummy) and fill the tub and even adhere to the temperature restrictions (I usually take very hot baths)...

I get in and sit down ,then lay back with one of those lovely bath pillows - which was a task in itself - only to find that 50% of my belly stick up above the water line!!!

I had to take a cup and pour water overy my belly!!!

A deeper tub would be nice - we even have one of those deeper spa tubs... oh well!

 

I will never forget the cold feeling on my belly skin... did the same as you with the cup...lol

 

lol yup been there done that.. I wouls also use a towel and dip it in the bath water constantly to help get it in the water. Your almost there, your doing a fabulous job!!

Hahaha that is too funny! I haven't taken a bath yet this pregnancy, partly because our tub needs a gooooood scrubbing and I'm too big to bend over to do it, and the other part is I'm afraid I'll get stuck in the tub! I have a hard time just lifting my leg to get in and out of the shower! LOL Maybe this week I'll attempt it if I can get DH to scrub it for me.
