So, can someone tell me how the twin pack & play is different from the regular one? I saw it in Babies R Us but didn't really get a good look at it...just in passing. Thanks!

As far as I know, it just has two seperate basinett sections, and it might be a little larger than a regular pack n play. The regular ones that have a mattress that covers the entire top are fine for two babies to sleep in as far as I know, so we registered for a regular one!

I was concerned about the regular ones with the full bassinet...the weight limit was only 15 lbs on the one we have from our dd. Is the weight limit higher on the twin one for the bassinet portion? It doesn't seem like that would last long for two babies, kwim? Thanks so much!

the weight limit is the main difference. on the regular one, the total limit is 15. on the twin one, the weight limit is 15 for each SIDE. Which means you can use it for a lot longer. the only thing is, you have to use it with these built in nests with one twin on each half of the PNP. very comfy looking, but totally separates them. I was going to get the regular one until i saw the weight limit. Now I plan to buy the Arm's Reach Co-sleeper which has a much much higher weight limit. It's more expensive, but i just don't want to put both babies in the regular PNP if it won't for sure hold the weight.

Wait!!! The regular one with the top mattress has a 15# weight limit on about 98% of the pack n plays. So look at the weight limit... Most twins will exceed 15#s very fast.

Yikes, I didn't even notice that my Pack n Play had a 15 lb limit. I have our PNP set up on the main floor & was planning on keeping both babies in there during the day & just using the crib upstairs at night. I guess I will only be able to do that for a couple weeks. What a waste of money.

There was a post on this on another twin site. I believe even the TWIN PNP has a total weight limit of 15 lbs too. But I did keep my boyz in the full bassinett part a little longer than that. Until they started to roll towards eachother in the center. HTH
