What time do your twins get up for the day?

How soon after your twins wake up in the am do they go down for their first nap?

After they awake from their first nap, how long until they go down for their next?

How long do they take to fall asleep?

How long do they nap for at each nap?

How many naps are they taking a day?

What time do they go to sleep for the night?

Thanks so much for any info you can help me with. Obviously I'm a bit confused and frustrated with the whole nap thing. There is just absolutely no consistency even though their wake up time and bedtime is pretty much a solid routined time. They show all the sleepy signs so I put them down and then they are awake for EVER. So after anywhere from 10-20 minutes, I give in and bring them back downstairs and try again in another hour to hour and a half (so it's now about 4-5 hours before they go down for their first nap). Our day starts at about 5:45am.

Well, mine are just a bit younger than yours. They get up anywhere between 6 and 7. If they're up at 6, they take their first nap around 9 and sleep about an hour. If they sleep til 7, they go down around 10 for the first nap and sleep about the same amount of time.

The second nap will be around 2 or 3 also for about an hour.

They go to bed at 7 to 7:30.

    wake by 6:30
    1st nap by 10 - approx 1.5-2 hrs
    2nd nap (if there is a 2nd nap) around 3 approx 45 min-1 hr
    bed between 7:30-8:30

I can't get my kids to sleep more than 10 hours at night so if they go to bed too early they get up WAAAAYYYY to early for mom...

part of this napping also includes car time because the days I work they nap on the way home from my mom's (half hour drive)

my kids can be cat nappers and can be refreshed with just a half hour drive nap...

My girls are on pretty much the same schedule as Maggie (pp) mentioned.
    Wake 7:30
    Nap #1 9ish to 10:30ish
    Nap #2 1ish to 3:30
    Bed time 7pm

For naps my girls take about 10 minutes to settle down. They usually don't cry- just "talk". They go right to bed at 7.

    Wake - 7:00am
    Nap - 9:30/10:00am
    Nap - 1:30/2:00pm
    Bedtime - 7:00pm

Their nap lengths vary daily and by baby. Somedays Grace can sleep a good 3 hours for her nap, and somedays maybe an hour. Lily is usually 30-45 minute naps, but sometimes she pulls out a 2 hour nap. So when the naps start sometimes varies depending on how long their other nap was.

    Wake 5:30-6:00am
    1st nap 10:00am
    2nd nap 1:30pm
    3rd nap 5:00pm
    Bed 7:30pm
**each nap ranges from 20-60 minutes on average**
We followed the Ferber method for getting them to sleep and it worked for us. We just put them in their cribs and they fall asleep on their own within minutes.

Our problem is that the boys are wanting more and more awake time before a nap...we're running out of daytime! My boys will have a screamfest if I put them down to early. But, if I wait 3 hours before morning nap & 4 hours before afternoon nap, they go down just fine. The other "problem" is that once they go down, they would prefer a 2-3 hour nap. They can't make it the rest of the day on 1 nap...so I am having to wake them pretty much at every nap to preserve the next nap/bedtime. I don't want to rush them into 1 nap before they're ready....but life will certainly be easier when we make the transition!

5amish (early wake up- 5oz bottle, back to bed)
6:30-7 Wake up (I wake them if they aren't up)
    9:30/10-11 AM nap
    3-4:30 PM nap
    8:00 Bed

    Wake-up: 6-7am
    1st nap: 9:30ish (nap for 1-2 hours)
    2nd nap: 1:30ish (nap for 1-2 hours)
    Bedtime: 7-7:30

Once in a while 1 baby will only nap a short time or not at all. I just try to catch them up the next sleep. We also just put them down and let them fuss - usually takes 10-15 minutes. If they are still awake - I let them stay in their bed for up to an hour without sleeping unless they're screaming.

    Awake 7:30-8
    1st Nap 10
    Awake noon
    2nd Nap 2-2:30
    Awake 4:30
    Bedtime 7:30

Usually they talk for the first 15 mins, might fall asleep for 1.5 hours, then wake up and play until get them up.

My girls are up at 7am.

First nap is at 9:30 and goes until about 11:30am

Second nap is 1:30 or 2 and goes no later than 4pm.

They go to bed around 7-7:30pm.

I am very strict with my naps. I need them for sanity, lol. I think every twin mom does!! I did not force them with my oldest and she stopped napping at a little over a year. My girls don't usually cry at nap time. I leave them with a couple of small toys and they play for 5-30 minutes usually and then fall asleep. My rule is this: you are going in for a nap, like it or not. You don't have to sleep, but I need my bit of almost quiet time! I have totally lost on days where they don't nap, and so have they. luckily, my girls are big fans of naps!!

My 2 get up around 7am

They usually go down for a nap about 3 hours after they get up.

Again when they wake from their morning nap it is about 3 hours before they go donw for the next one.

They usually take around 10 mins to fall asleep.

They can nap from anywhere from an 1 hour to 2hours.

They take 2 naps a day.

They usually sleep 11 1/2 hours a night.

    Hope that helps x
