Last night while at the mall Chase had a very bad explosion in his pants! DH told me to be prepared, that it was a bad one...I gave him a cross eyed look and a blanket, the container that has the diaper and wipes in it. I sent him on his way telling him where the family restroom area is! Now he was prepared!! (hehe) I was in the middle of upgrading our cell phones. He went without complaining, apparently there was this RUDE NOSEY woman, he was changing the diaper (the changing tables are outside of the restroom in the hand washing area, She looks at him in dismay.....Says to him..." you are not a very good DIAPER CHANGER!" what the heck???? how dare she???? is she the self appointed diaper patrol???? Well I came over there when I was done, He had ran out of wipes, I had the diaper bag, gave him some more wipes, he finnished up and we were on our way. When he told me I was steaming mad. See my DH helps me in every facet with these guys. I am grateful for it. How dare anyone judge my DH. I would have said a few choice things to her had she still be there when I found out! the golden rule....if you don't have anything nice to say...KEEP YOUR DARN MOUTH SHUT!

UGGH! THank you for letting me vent about this.

PS...I wonder how many sets of twins she has had???

    I bet NONE!
    :p

Wow. My Dh probably would have said something nasty (but witty) to her. She was probably jealous because her DH doesn't change diapers.

That's what I told him would have said to her...."At least my DH is able/willing to change diapers...don't be a hater!" (now I sound like my 2 teenagers!

My hubby is 6' 5 285...he gave her a drop dead look and he said she got out of there. LOL I am 5' tall and 110 pounds...she had better be glad she was gone when I got there...I am the one she would need to worry about ...he is the laid back one.

What the heck? Who comments on another person's diaper-changing abilities? That's so stupid!

I think I would have had to hunt her down.

That is ridiculous and people are not very smart.

My DH does EVERYTHING and if anyone ever insults him- They deal with ME!!

Someone made a similar comment and dh pretended to hand over DD bare bottom and all. The lady walked away quickly but got the point! I think any dh who changes diapers especially explosive ones need to be commended!

Amen to this post. There are WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE that cannot mind their own business. Umm, maybe these people should be concerned when there something to be concerned about. It'd surely save them some energy  .

That is what I would do and respond by saying "If you can do better, by all means, go ahead".

    People MYOB!!

Wow - why can't people mind their own business?!

Your DH rocks!! My DH is also very hands on, but in that situation would probably wanted me to do it :D

BTW - I had a similar situation with DD1 a few years ago. There was a couple there with a newborn, just staring at me with their mouths open. Neither of them said a word, but I think it scared them

I'm afraid I would have said, "Zeig heil mein Diaper Nazi!" under my breath.

You should be so proud to have a DH like that! Changing explosive diapers, and keeping his cool.

Geez I’m sorry I didn’t know there was a course in proper diaper changing. I am not sure my husband would of said anything but I sure as heck would have. I am agree with a previous post she was just jealous.

Funny my dh laughed when I read that to him. Sorry for the comment from the lady... bringing others down and judging makes unhappy people feel better. Don't worry she will be knocked off her flimsy pedestal.
