Yup! Had those pains pretty much at the same time, maybe even earlier(?). It really comes and goes but is normal at that stage when the uterus is stretching so fast. Just the same, mention it to your doc for your peace of mind. [IMG]

That is about the time I started getting them, maybe even a little earlier. I couldn't cough or sneeze without cringing. The other thing that happened is every time I was sitting at my desk for a while when I would stand up I would get the worst pressure, especially if I had to pee. It kind of stops after a couple more weeks but I still get it from time to time.

Yup, same for me. It was pretty bad for a few weeks and seems to have calmed down; i'm 25 weeks and get it occasionally, but not as much.

I got the ligament pain early on, too. I still get it at 35 weeks but not nearly as bad. I found that sneezing, coughing, or rolling over in bed was what triggered it. Basically, any fast movement did it. This pregnancy has been the worst for ligament pain.

Of course about 20 mins after I posted last night I sneezed and thought I was going to pass out from the sharpest RL pain i've had yet! [IMG]

Girl!!! EVERY time i sneeze i have to stop what i am doing to hold my stomach. i know exactly what you are feeling! EVERY time it never fails. and i wish that i knew what is making me sneeze. i sneeze at least 2 times every hour while i'm awake. i haven't found anything that helps me stop sneezing yet but i try to take it easy when i have been running around my house. i am at 13 weeks and i always feel the stretching. i guess after having 3 children already my body seems to have a mind of its own.

You are soooooo not a lone! Lots of love!

I'm right there with you! I am 13 weeks and this is my 3rd preg. Every time I sneeze I get the sharp RL pain and I pee on myself a little bit! Oh the joys of being a mommy! Wouldn't trade it for the world!

I've found over the pregnancies that it helps somewhat to do the normal stretches you would do to stretch your abdominal muscles; just go gently. This works early, but once you're all round just forget it! Try lying face down on your stomach and lift your upperbody up gently. Start by resting on your elbows, if that feels okay, try pushing up on the palms of your hands. (It's a yoga pose, although I can't think of the name....)

I know it sounds crazy, but it works for me!

I think I got those around week 8 - and it so doesn't help that I started to get really sneezy and congested at the same time. Like Jennifer said, gentle stretches helped a lot. I also learned to roll over in bed differently - picking my hips up off the bed and turning in the air instead of twisting and dragging my hips after me...does that make any sense?
