Just wondering...my babies will be 4 months on 12/18 and my DS has rolled over a few times - he's not consistent. My DD has not rolled over at all, but is really close. I was just wondering what is going on in other houses (as I often am)! Thanks!

My girls are almost 5 months and one JUST rolled from front to back this past weekend.. she did it 3 times and hasn't done it since.. the other is still not even close.. My girls were 5 weeks early, so maybe that is playing a roll in it???

Oh, I am so not the person to answer this!!!

Evan rolled about at age 4 months from his tummy to back... but he is lazy. He is just not a roller. He just rolled from his back to his tummy less than 2 weeks ago and he has yet to do it again! I know he can.. he just doesn't! LOL

Guy has been rolling over for about 2-3 months, but Josie has still not rolled over...both will be 9 months on Sat. She's actually seeing a physical therapist who works on her "stiffness". However, she is sitting and has been for about 3-4 weeks.

Remember however to not compare. I know it is hard to do. I do it myself, but I have learned from these two kids and my experience over the last 9 months...no kid is on a time table that always makes sense. :)

both my girls are really good at rolling tummy to back but have zero interest in rolling from back to tummy - i think it's because, generally speaking, they hate tummy time! :)

My first baby rolled on Easter Sunday last year. Does anyone remember the date of Easter Sunday last year? They were born on October 24.

I can't reply... They still don't roll over constantly. They roll to their tummy and stay there. They only really roll to their back in their crib, but they've been doing that since 6 months or so.

oh my i'm feeling sort of out of the loop here. my boys both rolled from tummy to back at 9 days old, when Ashton did it i was like, well that was just a fluke thing, and then Carter did it later the same day. They both roll consistently from tummy to back whenever we play on the floor, i don't think they like playing on their tummies much. they are 8 wks old now. any one else have their babies rolling over this early?

Sounds like your little ones are right on time ^_^

My ladies rolled over [from tummy to back] the first time at 10 wks. They've been rolling from back to tummy since about 3.5 - 4 months - favoring one direction . Now they can roll over in both directions.

I think DS was 4 months and DD was probably 4.5 - 5 months. Mine only roll from front to back and can do it in both directions. They are so close to going back to belly but dont seem to be in a hurry to reach that milestone!

DD rolled over from back to front at 6 months (5 months adjusted). DS shows no interest in rolling over at all. He'll sleep on his side, so I know he could probably do it if he wanted, but he just doesn't seem to care. Neither one is rolling over from front to back yet, although DD is working on it.

Creed can, but only does in his bed. Laud doesn't and they are now 6.5 mo. My other kids were as early as 2 months. Every child is different.

My guys started rolling by 4 months but didn't consistently roll until 5 months. They are 6 weeks early babies. . .

My kids are freaks but they rolled front to back at 9 weeks and back to front at 5 months. Once they'd done it once, they were rolling fools so there was no waiting for it to be consistent.

My girls show no interest in rolling. They were born at 32 weeks so I'm sure that plays into it.
