    Now it's driving me CRAZY!!!

My girls are tummy sleepers and have been for a while.
Anyways they have been rolling over for quite some time and Abby has been doing it at night occasionally. She is a thumb sucker so when she rolls over she can't suck her thumb as easily or it falls out when she drifts off. So she starts to fussing. I have been able to go in there and roll her back over and she will make it the rest of the night just fine.
Well the last few days as soon as I roll her over she rolls back and of course screams!!!!!
I went in there about 10 times last night. And right now she is fussing because she's doing it now during nap. I've already been up there 3 times!!!
When do they learn to roll the other way??!!??

I don't remember exactly how long before they can roll both ways, but I'm hoping it's not too long!

I am dealing with the same thing. The boys have slept on their tummies.from the start...and now they roll over to their backs, get stuck like turtles and in the process lose the pacifiers and get mad. So I am up a million times a night, rolling them back over and giving pacifiers. Lucas will now on occasion fall asleep on his back but doesn't stay asleep.

I have the opposite problem here! They roll to their tummy all the time (often sleep there now too), but they can't roll the other way. So, when they wake up at night, they find themselves on their tummy and eventually scream (they both hate tummy time after a while, although DS can stand it longer). DD started 2 months ago, DS 1 month ago, but he does it all the time, and she still only does it in her crib. I'm just putting them on the floor all the time now so they have more opportunities to practice.

Oh I remember those days well. It took longer than I thought it would for them to learn to roll both ways. I did try to work with them on it during the day though... GL and hang in there.

Oh my gosh, I had this EXACT problem with my DS recently. I finally tried CIO for one night, he cried off and on for over two hours when put down, then woke up at 5 am and cried for 2 more hours. The next night, DH couldn't take it, so he went to get him. (and basically negated the CIO night--which means we tortured him for nothing).

Anyway, I ended up doing "intense physical therapy" with him the next day. In between naps, I would put him on his back, then show him how to roll over--pulled his leg and arm to the side until he flipped. I repeated it over and over and over and over and over (seriously, and over and over) again. By the evening he was finally doing it!!!!!!!!! I practice with him every day now so he will not forget :)

But the downside is I can't leave him anywhere anymore.. he rolls and rolls.
