When did you little ones roll over? Both my boys rolled over yesterday from tummy to back several times and they are only 6 weeks which seems really early. Just wondering where everyone else is at.

Wow! That is early! You have some strong little boys :) Mine are four months and are still working on it. They hate tummy time, so I think they'll do back to front before front to back. Congrats to your babies!

6 weeks is early. My DD rolled at 8 weeks a whole bunch of times and then she didn't do it again until 3 months. DS did it at 3 months and he rolls all over the place. DD who rolled early hardly rolls at all now. She CAN, she's just too lazy

    Wow, that's very early!!

My Ella just did it yesterday (3 months, 2 weeks)--Addison was 4 days ago.

DS was rolling front to back at 3 weeks and both directions and all over the place at 6 weeks. 1 DD rolled front to back at 7 weeks and the other at 9 weeks (probably would have ben sooner but they were in the hospital from 7-9 weeks).

That does seem very early. Owen did it about that age but I think it was a fluke.

Both boys went the opposite of typical rolling, and started back to front at around 3 1/2mo. They were kind of on and off about it though. Don't be surprised if your early rollers have some regressions here and there. I think it takes them a little while to figure out how to do it voluntarily, where they actually "get" what they're doing. :)

My oldest was 4 months (f/b), then a little later b/f, but she didn't do f/b for a looooong time. Twin girl very similar, although the b/f took her a little longer. My twin boy was 5 months when he went b/f and a little later f/b, and now they're all over the place. They both still prefer b/f though. My oldest was the same.

thehy didn't get a lot of floor time early on though, so i attribute it to that. :D

Ugh..we're still trying to get DD to lift her head up on her tummy! Not even close here. But she does roll on her side a lot, if that counts..sleeps on her side, as a matter of fact.

Three months is our average... Hopefully for you its a one time thing... that would make life a little harder a little earlier than usual!! At least you know they are strong and determined! lol!

My babies have both rolled over, but like someone else said, I don't think they really "get" that they're doing it. They just seem to get one really good launch and over they go!
