How long before they get used to ending up on their tummies at night?

Mine got used to it within a few weeks of starting to roll. Now my DS prefers his belly and will flip over immediately after you lay him down. DD rolls onto her side and sucks her fingers so she rarely flips all the way over.

as soon as my two started rolling over they love sleeping on their bellies with their butts up in the air. when you lay them down for bed or a nap they immediately go right on their bellies. they never fuss or cried about winding up that way when it first happened only when they would find themselves in an uncomfortable postion, i.e. dead arm from it's placement across their bodies but once you adjusted their arm they were fine.

For us, a week. They used to get scared at night and cry to get flipped. They also cried during the day to get flipped. Then after about a week they stopped the night crying.

I've heard some moms use sleep positioners to prevent rolling, but our older DS actually started sleeping much better once he could roll onto his tummy. He has slept that way ever since! It might just take a few days for your babies to figure out what they like.
