Rolling over on week 3?

Memory serving, our 18 month old started rolling around 3 or 4 months (I have to look up the video dates) - but now one of the twins is rolling on week 3, and his brother was just 1 week behind ?!?

Alex rolled from his front to back (suprising the heck of us) for a couple days, then went from front to back at least once. (which reminds me, I need to get video).

Steven just went from front to back yesterday so is a week or less behind. No back to front yet.

    Are we in big trouble?

LOL you're not in big trouble! That's really neat. My girls didn't start rolling until they were about 4 months old. You might be in store for some early crawling and walking though!

One of my kids(I can't recall which one!) did this a couple of times very early on, and then stopped just as suddenly. Strange that they both did it though! :welcome: Congrats on your boys!

I was thinking the same thing when he did it the first time - it's a fluke - but I keep expecting him to just stop doing it (which is why I need to get it on video).

Another thing I keep meaning to do is go through the 18 month old's digital pix & get dates on when he did things to compare against. I always meant to keep a list, but always forgot. I know one can't compare kid to kid, but it's something to go on.

Which also reminds me, I want to get a pix of the twins wearing one of the older bro's size 5 diaper, with 1 baby sticking out of each leg. After months of the size 5, seeing the liiiiiiiiiiiiitle newborn diapers is pretty weird. Also, after changing about 10 little diapers - changing the older one feels so weird.

I think I'm the lucky one - older brother is being the helpful little guy. He's running over to tell us when the twins are crying or need to be changed or anything. He even grabs their bottle and tries to shove it into their mouths (regardless of weather they are awake or not) - but still :)

Older one has always been ahead of the curve according to the books, so if the twins start out-doing him - then I guess I'm at least in 4th place on the IQ's in the house!

Sounds like they are doing great!! I agree with Aimee, you may be in for some early mobile babies if that keeps up!

My two did it 5 or 6 times between week 5 and 7, and didn't do it again until this week (16 weeks)!
