my girls have both been rolling tummy to back for a couple of weeks now but don't really seem to be too eager to go back to tummy. i'm sure they'll get there in their own time & am not worried or concerned about it but was just curious - after your babies could roll one way, about how long did it take them to go the other way?

Im still waiting for mine to roll from back to belly. DS is almost there but hasnt managed it yet! He´s more interested in trying to crawl! :D

DS rolled belly to back for the first time at about two weeks. At four months he has started rolling back to belly frequently, but seems to have completely forgotten how to roll back again. DD doesn't even try (though she has rolled belly to back once or twice). She'd rather lie on her back where everyone can see how cute she is.

My son began rolling both ways just before 5 months, but my daughter can only roll back to tummy. Consequently, she gets stuck like a little stranded turtle and we are constantly having to help her out.

Mine were both rolling in their crib at 5 months, but DD wouldn't roll to her tummy on the floor until 6 months. Now they're always on their tummy.

They both rolled around 4 months from tummy to back and then around 6 months back to tummy. Give it time, it will come!

M was rolling both ways all the time at 4 months and C was just 6 months when he started doing it consistently even though he was the first to roll over at one month

A long time!!! I used to work with them on it while they were awake, but in the end I have no idea if what I showed them made any difference. They eventually figured out their own way to roll both ways and life hasn't been the same since ! Start thinking about baby proofing!!
