I separated my boys because I have one that has always gotten up earlier than the other. Since just before the time change though he is waking 1-2 hours earlier than normal. They usually get up about 6:30 when my husband gets ready for work. This morning it was 5:!5 that Carter woke. And he has been consistently waking from 5-6 every morning since the weekend. It is a nightmare. We have tried not letting him nap as much during the day, we have let him go to sleep later in the evening, then we tried letting him go to bed earlier...nothing seems to be working.

I would love to hear other opinions too!!!

The only thing I can think of is it could be due to the time change? It might just be something that they have to adjust to for the time being. You could try earlier naps if they seem tired sooner and a earlier bed time if they also seem tired earlier.

My guys seem to wake extra early when they're teething; lately Nate has been waking up almost 2 hours early!! :gah:

    I'm hoping it's just a phase for you. :)

Please avert your eyes if you don't want to have nightmares...

Jacob was always our early riser. And he still is. He's just wired that way. This morning he was already up when I got up at 5:30. No amount of coaxing, punishment or pleading has changed his natural tendency to wake early. And he's now 7.
