ribs, shoulder, arm pain?

one of my LOs has been screaming bloody murder when i pick him up. that's it. could something be wrong with his shoulder, arm or ribs or something? is there something i should look for to find the cause?

 

You've looked him over and found no swelling or bites?

When you hold him in your lap and move his arm around does he cry or whine? If I couldn't find a reason, I'd take him to the doctor, especially if he sounds like he's in pain.

 

he "looks" fine. hes sleeping now and is laying on his side. i dont know which side it is; it's been whenever i pick him up out of his highchair, crib, car seat, stroller, etc.
he screams, screams, screams,
hes able to crawl.

 

I would call your pedi and have him checked out. Hope everything is okay!

 

Have you thought about taking him to the chiropractor to get adjusted? Try and find a chiro who is great with kids. Ask around your mama groups to see if they recommend anyone.

 

How are you picking him up? I see soooooo many parents grab their child by the arm and swing them onto their hip....this is sooo hard on the joints.

I also 2nd the chiro - amazing what those doctors can do for people of all ages. My children have all been adjusted since birth and I can really tell a difference when they miss an adjustment.
