Apparently one of the boys has taken up residence under my rib cage for the last two weeks ( transverse ) and i cant seem to find a way to evict him or get him to change positions. i know at my u/s a week ago they could barely get measurements cause there is just no more room in there, but it HURTTTTTTTSSSS. -pouts-

i cant get comfortable in any position, i feel bruised all under my ribcage, and it is getting harder to breathe. i have tried everything i can thnk of, including trying to forcibly push him out from under there with my hands, and nothing works. Isn't it time for them to come out yet?????????

aww hun. Im feeling your pain. On my right side i cant sneeze or cough or my ribs hurt sooo bad. It has to be internally bruised. Im only a week behind you. I understand what you mean. Mine arent under there staying, just kicking repeatedly in the same spot!! If i push them down out from my ribs they move.

I had worse rib pain with my oldest, than with the twins (though lots more other pains with twins than with any of the other single babies). She just liked it up there, and it hurt! I had a hard time sitting, because of the way her foot would ram up under my left rib. I don't have an answer for you, hopefully, they'll move positions some and give you some relief.

I was happy to see this post, I thought I was alone and did not want to complain. My son is lodged right under my right rib and the pain is awful. I try not to complain because I feel bad but the pain is bad and it just brings down my mood. Even DH has asked if everything is OK and he can tell how uncomfortable I am. Massage seems to help alittle. I rub the area and try to get him to move, but since they are pretty big now and space is tight, I don't try anything to forceful. Tylenol does not work for me, so I just bear it. I hope we get some relief soon.

I actually had a dislocated rib while pregnant! Ouch! I kept telling my ds (baby A) that after he was born I was going to poke him in his ribs because he caused me so much pain for so long! (of course I havent poked him but sometimes I want to!) lol
I am so sorry that it hurts! I do know how you feel! I slept on ice packs the last few weeks-I thought that would make him move but apparently he did have anywhere to go.
    Hang in there!
