For me, I couldn't get rid of the pain (and even now have the pain) :( My dd was stuck under my ribcage and it hurt alot but lived through it. I hope you find more positions to help with the discomfort.

I dont know how far along you are but once I hit my second trimester and they really began to move about, baby b stayed next to my rib cage, thank god that I dropped because it was nerve wrecking at times!!

I would keep my hand there on the spot and the baby would eventually move away. Push down a little and eventually that baby might move down

My baby B was up in my ribs and it HURT like no other! The only way I could get comfortable was to put a pillow behind my lower back, put my feet up and keep myself as "straight" as possible when lying down. If I sat at a normal, perpendicular angle it was always much worse. HTH some! Eventually it will go away!!! (Though that is usually after you deliver!) ;)

Rib pain is ridiculous.. I always have one or the other deciding to try and make an exit through my lungs  Someone on this site, I can't remember who.. said to hold a cold can of soda against their ribs, and it actually worked! Just temporarily, because the baby came right back into position, but it was a great relief for a minute.

with all 3 of my pregnancies My ribs would move out of place and it was very painful. I went to the chiropractor and it helped tremendously!

We had a physio at our antenatal classes and I asked her about this. She said the easiest way is to stretch your arm over your head and stretch out the muscles that are hurting, so if it hurts on the right side stretch your right arm over your head to the left. I did it each time it hurt and it gave the babies a chance to move out and for my muscles to recover a bit. It wasn't a permanent solution but it did work.
    Hope that helps!!

Gosh, this rib pain can be utterly ridiculous! I feel that kneeling on all fours helps me. It takes some of the weight off too which is good. LOL when pp said it would be relieved when we gave birth--I can't wait for these feelings to become new ones.
