I started back to work about a week and a half ago. My 2 month olds are starting to show some signs of possible reverse cycling. I went through this with my singleton and was absolutely miserable because she wanted to make up the missed feedings in the dead of night. These two seem content to make up for them before 11 pm, which helps but isn't a cure all since it means I pretty much work, sleep, and feed them and can't get anything else done. (I thought that was all I was doing before but now there's really no time for anything else!)

Does anyone know of ways to encourage the bottle? While we're at it, how can I get them to use pacifiers too? They seem to have little to no interest in them. TIA!

My older DD and one twin did not take to the bottle until they were nearly 5months old. Things we tried were different bottle shapes, teats and of course always given by someone else while you are not in the room or house even. With Sierra, my twin, it didn't matter if she was starving, she was not having it! I wish there was a simple answer to this, but apart from the above, I don't know anything else.

So how are they being fed while you are at work? And honestly, if they're not taking the pacifiers, that's a good thing, one less habit to break later. Their thumb is a much better option, at least it's always there (I actually 'helped' older DD find hers then unfind it when she was 4). With the twins, they were given pacis in the NICU which I was not happy about and they didn't take to it thankfully!

3 days of the week, the nanny gives a bottle. 2 days my husband. They don't eat great for the nanny but they barely eat at all for my husband. It honestly worries him more than me. We'll try different bottles if it continues to be an issue.

I've tried to help them find their thumb/fingers/fist, which they are interested in but they just get frustrated. Pacifiers worked great with my oldest since it only took 2 days to break her of the habit and I guess I was hoping for that again. We'll keep trying all the different options. Maybe they just need to get a little older. Thanks!
