We bought a package of pull-ups and MAN they are expensive! I put them on Hannah at naps and nighttime since she does get up to go the bathroom and I like the ease of being able to pull them up and down all by herself when she is half-asleep. I am not sure how long we will need to use these, but I hope not long. (She is in regular underwear during the day.)

So is it gross to reuse them, if they are dry. Like if she uses one for a nap, I put it back on her at night. Is that ewww? How many times do you reuse them before you finally toss them?

Annie uses them at night. If she's dry in the morning, which happens occasionally, I will set it on her dresser and use it again that night. She rarely stays dry more than 2 nights in a row so the number of 'reuses' is low.

So, no, I don't find it gross. I do the same thing!

If they are dry I treat it like underwear and re-use them. Once they are wet, I will pitch them. :)

ditto.. reuse them.. mine rarely stay dry for more than 2.5 days between naptime and nighttime... I don' think i'd reuse one for more than a week....I mean eventually it'd be gross even if you kept your kid in the same underwear at night for too long! LOL!

P.S. I still use diapers at naptime and nighttime though too... my ds is still doing poops at naptime and diapers are easier to deal with for that than pull-ups IMHO.

I think as long as it is dry I would re-use as well and treat like underwear, but if it is wet then obviously pitch. :)

When I was a nanny the youngest was in pull-ups (we bought the Walmart brand of them, works just as well and they are cheaper than the name brand) and if they were dry we reused them.

My bff reuses on her son as well if they are dry.

    We also reuse them.
We just use them at night and are encoraging them to get up and go to the potty if they have to. If I hear them stirring in the night, I usually get up and take them to the bathroom, it's so much easier with the pull ups than a diaper when we are both half alseep.

i reuse if dry. if I worry about cleanliness down there, then I grab a baby wipe and get her clean then put the pull up back on.

For us, we were cold turkey people. During the day panties and what ever happened happened, however, I will tell you that if it isn't that wet, I'd put it back on again. We do that with diapers too if it is near bedtime and we want to put a new one on but the old one is hardly touched, we will save it for the next morning.
