Hello everyone. My name is Jennifer. I found this site 2.5 years ago after going through IVF. At 5 weeks we discovered we were having twins. I lost baby B around 6w1d(there was never a fetal pole or HB). I only posted here a few times but you ladies were a great help! I delivered my daughter at 35w5d due to low fluid levels. She is the light of my life and we could not be happier with her.

In March I returned to my infertility Dr. for a frozen embryo transfer. We still had 6 embryos left. Since we lost one of our babies the first time I was worried to only transfer one. So again we did two. My transfer was on 4/9 and at 5 weeks we once again got the news that we are expecting twins. At 6w2d(this past tues) I started to have some heavy bleeding and was passing large clots. We went to ER were they told me an u/s showed one sac measuring behind with no fetal pole and the other babys HB was only 93 and I would probably m/c that baby. They could not find a source for the bleeding. Later the next day I returned to my infertility Dr.'s office for my regular weekly u/s. The tech found both babies right away and baby A's HB was 107 and baby B's was 113. So the ER tech was an idiot. I'm almost 7 weeks and have another u/s on 5/12 which will be my last one at the infertility dr.'s until my ob/gyn appt. 5/27.

I am so happy to be expecting twins but scared out of my mind. I know that at any time I could m/c one or both babies. I had a lot of problems during my daughters pregnancy like gestational diabetes. I'm only 5'3 and very overweight. I'm just looking for some support and women who are going through the same things. It's hard to find other overweight twin moms and you ladies were so great for those few weeks the first time I thought I would return to the site.

So far I have been feeling ok. My boobs are killing me and I am sooooo sick. I never had nausea with my daughter but I have it bad this time (haven't thrown up yet thank goodness ;) ). I'm hoping these are good signs and I can have a full term pregnancy this time even though the odds are against me.

I'd take the morning sickness as a good sign too :)

I went through a miscarriage before this pregnancy, and actually didn't find out with this pregnancy that we were having twins until 19 weeks! I was kind of glad I didn't know about it during the first trimester, because it's stressful enough thinking there is only one. I can totally put myself in your shoes though!

Just try to relax! It's not good for the babies when we worry or are stressed. I don't know how I would have made it through this pregnancy without knowing that my babies are in God's hands...and He knows whats best for me and for them!

I will pray everything goes really well for you, and you get a good report at your next sono!
