I have to have my hubby give my legs a rub down to help me relax most nights. I also use a pillow between my legs to add a little more comfort. Sorry, I don't have anymore advice. Good news is you are nearing the end and soon your legs will never rest :)

Talk to your doc but an iron supplement immediately cured my RLS.

i got real bad restless legs when i was pg with my twins. i couldn't lay down and had to walk around the house for hours. i asked the doctor and he said it happens when you are pregnant that i can eat some bananas or more things with iron. it may help and maybe it won't. after i had them i found out there is something by hylands called leg cramp and back aches. i bought that and wow did it work. i still get RLS sometimes at night ever since i was pg and it works. it's all natural so i don't think it would hurt to take it but ask your doctor and see what he says first.

Dates has a lot of iron. So, try taking a few dates during the day, with orange juice or something ( I read that iron gets absorbed better with Vitamin C).
If it's iron deficiency it should definitely help.

Iron supplement may really help...definitely take with Vitamin C for absorption, but take it a couple hours before or after any calcium. Calcium will block absorption. My doctor also suggested a calcium and magnesium supplement. In the past, my pregnancies have brought on the worst leg cramps! This time around, I have had two so far...not too bad!!

PS Be careful with the iron and calcium supplements. Both cause constipation, which will not help the hemmys! There are several options on the market that are easier on the system. Ask your OB for recommendations. I'm taking Repliva (iron supplement) and Calcitrate (I think...for calcium.)

I just sometimes hang my legs off the bed and stretch, wiggle them. Could you ask the doc for some physical therapy directed exercise that doesn't involve your torso?

I've been lying down for 2 weeks! I have this problem too. At night it's 10x worse. I feel it mainly at the sides of my crotch! All I can say is OUCH!!!!!!!!!
