I'm not sure if thats what this is, everynight when I try to lay down and relax my legs feel really wierd and I need to stretch but no matter how much or in what direction I stretch my legs they still feel all wierd and kinda painful. I get DH to massage them when ever possible but it usually only helps for the time he's doing it unless I fall asleep while he's doing it. Anybody else have this? Does anything help?

My legs are like this alot...even before I was pregnant. Now they do this almost every night but I feel restless all over! Not sure what it is, I had spoke with my doctor about it but she said not to worry about it unless it became worse. I will see how things are once the babies come...maybe it will go away!

Yep, that's what it is. I have experienced this with all of my pregnancies except the first. I cannot find ANYTHING that helps it. I usually have to get up and walk around, bend, or stretch the leg muscles then lay back down and hope I can fall asleep. The bright side...mine always seems to go away after delivery. :)

Let me know if you find anything that cures it!!!

Yes! I have had this with all 3 of my pregnancies. This time I found something that works. I told my doc about it when I was around 18 weeks and he had a remedy for me. He said there is a connection between milk products, pregnancy and RLS. He suggested that I cut out as much dairy as possible - milk, ice cream, cheese, etc. I didn't cut it out entirely, but stopped drinking milk and eating ice cream, etc. And then, and this is really important, take an OScal 500 calcium supplement with your prenatal vitamin. It has to be OScal 500. He said to give it a try for a week and see if it helps. Well, here I am at 36 weeks with no RLS. It worked right away for me. Hope it helps you too!

Seems I heard that bananas (potassium) were really helpful for this, too.
