My 6 wk old (newborns adjusted) babies won't sleep more than 20-30 minutes in their co-sleeper! when we brought them home from the nicu we were desparate for some rest and we established a nighttime routine of putting them in their carseats. they sleep 4 hours at a time there! our pediatrician sAId let them sleep wherever they will sleep, but their pulmonary specialist said the carseats arent the safest place for them to sleep, as sitting up compresses their diaphragm. now we cant get them back into the bassinet. HELP!

Try bouncy seats. They let the abdomen stretch out a bit compared to the car seat but still let them be upright. They were great for my reflux babies when the car seats made the spitting up worse.
