I have been in this house since Friday. DH had a Vasectomy on Friday and has been sitting in the chair with frozen corn, which is understandable. I asked to go to church last night and he asked that I wait until today to go. (go figure) In the mean time I think someone took my good kids and gave me their terrible twin. Kaylee has been unbelievably naughty. She hits, whines, and throws fits. This morning she took her jammies off and her diaper and threw a fit when we made her get dressed. I was sitting on the couch this a.m. and Kaylee came up and hit me in the eye with her brush and then laughed. [IMG] I am begging DH to call his sister to just get a break from the kids. I also think DH is milking this whole surgery and can't do anything. I asked him to feed the kids and I even got him a chair, he couldn't do it, because he hurt so bad and had to sit!!! [IMG] I am off work tomorrow, and DH gave me permission to go to the spa, however we don't have one. (He actually said whatever you women do to take a break you need to go and do that). I think I will take the kids to daycare and go get a massage!! Please send patience my way. I feel like all I am doing is yelling. I think I will have to have a strong drink. [IMG]

[IMG] I feel for you. Men turn into complete babies when sick or hurt. I think that is why women bear children and not men. There would be NO way they could handle a pregnancy and birth.

Hang in there, this to shall pass.

OH yeah I also forgot to add that he informed me that my c-section was not as painful as this surgery, because I was up walking around a couple hours after surgery. I told him I had no choice, because I had to go and see my babies in NICU. He said he would have waited to see them. MEN!!! I agree they are completely babies!! Don't get me wrong I am sure this hurts, but we are going on day 3 and he still acts like it is day 1.

Men!! That's about all i can say!

My friend's dh is the biggest baby I know when it comes to stuff like this. When he had his V he was down for about a day then just complained a lot the next week but was able to get back into his regular schedule after that first day or two.

UGH!!!! Patience dust your way. Tell that heck of a man, that there is no way he could POSSIBLY know that kind of pain. The drs and nurses force you to walk around and be mobile...doesnt mean we are okay. Im also sure it doesnt hurt him to take a number 2 with stitches across the stomach. I wish I was there with you darlin...I would give him a piece of my mind!!! LOL!!

    Enjoy your messsage....

Geez, men are such babies [IMG]. I know several men who have had a V and were up and at it the next day just like normal. If my dh made a comment about that being worse than a section Id probably have sent him through the wall [IMG]

    Enjoy your massage

So sorry! Same thing happened here- it is just totally ridiculous the way they go on and on and on about their woes...and after ALL we go thru every single year to the gynocologist, childbirth, having a cold and caring for kids, etc.... please.

Put the kids in daycare, get a babysitter, whatever. Leave him in his misery and go do something for yourself.

Thank you all. You don't want to know what I did today. DH's mom came over and we went a drank a few beers, but he had to come home because he was hurting. He told me to stay at his sister's so that I did. `
I am home now and he is in bed. My aunt gave him a muscle relaxer, so he is tired. 1 1/2 hrs and the twins will be in bed and then it is mommies time. No men and no kids. Yeah when he told me my c-section didn't hurt, let me tell him I gave him a piece of my mind. I told him all he was missing in his balls was some staples. [IMG] Anywayh I am better and needed that break.
