I don't know quite what to do, but Benjamin (21months old) has been removing his pj's in the morning if I don't get in to him quick enough. A few times he removed his diaper too  . Well last night he actually took of his sleeper and woke up cold at about 1am and cried hysterically about being redressed and layed back down. I am looking for anything that has worked for you all. He undoes onesies, snaps, and zippers. I don't want to use a pin, because I know he will figure it out an poke himself. Help please.

I wish I had the answer for you! Lily undresses herself as well most nights, but she's not waking up cold because of it. She has recently started discarding her diaper as well. YES, I've resorted to duct tape over the tabs! Last night I put her in a snug fitting onsie over top of her diaper instead of a gown because she was SO obsessed with getting the diaper off that she was ripping the diaper around the DT.

Hopefully, it's a phase and will pass quickly!

Both of mine do the same exact thing! Amanda has been doing it since about 18 months and Aidan started around 2. We've had a couple rough mornings where dirty diapers have been removed. We went to putting them in onesies under their PJs (or just onesies by themselves). I've been told by many people that it is an indication of potty training readiness. I'm going to switch to pullups when I run out of the current diapers to see if that helps. I hope you get some more suggestions because I'm curious also!

One of my girls did that, on cold nights i put her in one peice pjs, backwards so she can't undo them

You could look into the one piece pajamas that snap or button up the back instead of the front. Not sure where they exist but I saw the Dr. Phil episode with the parents of blind, deaf, and mute triplets and they had them in backward pjs because they would do exactly that. take them off and take off their diapers and play with the poop and put it everywhere.

We have been wearing our jammies backwards for about 8 months now. :) We have the footed kind that have one long zipper, and it's easy to just turn them around. The feet look a little funny, but you can twist them arund so the grippy part is still on the soles of the feet; it just makes the leg fabric twist around a half turn. Mine can get out of anything else, but have not been able to get out of those. It just took one time of me finding poop in the bed (thankfully not smeared around!!!) to come to that decision!

Good luck! Try the backward PJs; it really works!

My dd did this and still would if she had the chance. Her naptime and night antics including fecal smearing which is oh so NOT fun!!My solution has been blanket or cotton sleepers with the feet cut off on backwards ( so they zip up the back)-my dd can;'t get them off and no more poop everywhere at wake-up time. Best of luck!
