Remote control cars for toddlers (i.e. My 1st remote control car by Parents)

I'm thinking about ordering the "My 1st Remote Control Car" - By Parents for our DS' 2nd birthday. Does anyone have this car already? If so, what do you think of it? Are there any other remote control cars that you've found are great for a toddler? Thanks!

 

I bought this for my nephew when he turned one. He loved it. It was really easy for him to control--unlike the 5years+ ones my brother bought him. lol It's a good buy.

Edited to add: I got it at Target for only $12.99 on sale. I believe they are 14.99/15.99 regular. I noticed the website you posted is asking 24.99.

 

We have these in two different colors/styles. The boys love them and they're surprisingly durable. They got them for their 2nd birthday and were able to figure them out quickly.

 

Thank you both for your responses. It's good to know that Target sells it, too. (and much cheaper!) I will check out the Toys R Us ones, too...I haven't seen those before.

 

I got one that was very similar, but had two buttons, for their 2nd birthday. They like it, but even at 2.5 years, they don't really understand how to control it. It has one button to go forwards and one that sort of goes backwards in a circle (so you can change direction after the car runs into something). They understand that the buttons make it go, but not how to steer. So DH and I are always sitting there going "Blue button! No, green button! Now blue button! Whoops! Green button!"

I think the lesson is, get one with only one button -- or else maybe a joystick or some other more intuitive control.
