remember my bath problem

So baths are getting better. Thank you for all of your sage advice! I think what finally worked with Clara was exposing her to water in other circumstance where she was under control or felt protected (washing hands, bath in sink or beside sink, pouring water in the sink, showering with me). Grayson just decided he liked it again. Typical.

Problem is that she still hates getting her hair washed. She doesn't want to lie down in the tub and she doesn't want to have water poured over her head. Do you have any suggestions? Is there a product out there that might help? BTW, she doesn't like when it splashes on her face in the shower either.

My girls hated getting water on their heads too. We bought this shampoo rinse pitcher seen here and it has helped a LOT. It really does keep the water out of their faces. I tell them to "look up in the sky!" to rinse.

    Good luck!

We bought some foam visors made by Sassy at BRU. One of my girls HATES to have her hair rinsed, but has no issues whatsoever when the visor is on.

We have this too but I HATED it! What the heck am I doing wrong? It seems to only work if they put their heads back but that's the very thing they don't want to do. Is there some trick to this that I'm missing? We've just been dumping it on them and making them get over their fear of water in their faces the tough (and likely traumatizing) way :D . It doesn;t seem to phase them much at all anymore.

We do the "traumatizing" water over the head thing as well. They didn't like it for a while, but now they choose to stick their heads under the faucet while the tub is filling, getting face and mouth full of water. They think it is great!!
