So my dumb a$$ DH was just goofing off on his ATV and broke his wrist and elbow and is now in an arm cast from his fingers to his shoulder for 12 weeks!
I was already going crazy, now I am there!!!
Recap-I have two colicky babies that cry from 6pm-about 10pm, a three year old, started back to work, breastfeeding, no time to myself and now I have to tie my husbands shoes and put tooth paste on his tooth brush!!!! My babies cant really hold their heads up that well yet so the one armed husband is not much help AT ALL!
Anyone care to join my pity party???

:hug99: One armed baby holding works! :) Put them in a baby carrier... no hands needed there! :)

I don't even know what to say! Seriously! Usually when you go through a crummy period like this, the period following is bliss. Just squint your eyes as tight as possible and try to find that light at the end of the tunnel. :hug99:

OH MY GOSh! Did you break his OTHER arm just for fun!??

    I would.

Wow is all I can say.. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea what I would do in that situation but it might require a full body cast for somebody.

I think If i were in your shoes, I'd have to be referring to my dh as my newly departed dh since I would have killed him!!!

My one girl cried from 7- 9 pm and I found she liked to be on her stomach. I'd put her on my lap & swing my knees to rock her. She still cried but less & fall alseep sooner. It is working for my sister's baby too. My girl also like a little bottom spank too -- hopefully she grows out of that as a teenager !! This would be workable for a one arm man. I'm thinking ordering in every night too !! Spa treatment.... massages... pedicure..... some new outfits...... flowers........

Funny how while you are working your butt off your husband has the time to be goofing off on his ATV! MEN!! (I hope you soon get to claim your own goofing off time.)

    Anyway...sucks!

I'm so sorry to hear about everything you are going through!! I know the one thing that helped me in an ever so microscopic way was to think that one day, this will be quite the story....and maybe one day, I will laugh about this! I know it's no chuckling matter now....I just hope things get easier for you and fast!

I like the suggestions in pps...such as the baby carrier...etc. Hope you get a break! :hug99:
