Hi. I know there was just a post on what "not" to put on a baby registery. I was hoping to get some tips on what to put? How many sets of clothers, bottle types, nursing items, how many swings and bigger items? We registered on Sat night and I thought it would be easier considering I have an 8 yo. daughter BUT no. It was overwhelming!

Any help would be appreciated. I am having boys...they will be sharing a room unless we add on to our home som day!

    thanks.

My "prized possession" at this moment are my two Graco Snug Ride car seats and my DuoGlide stroller. The seats snap in the car and snap in the stroller. LOVE THEM. Most posts say only register for one of the big items until you know if your babies will like them (swing, bouncy, etc) Also, register for the head supports that you can buy - the ones that come with the seats are still too big. I use tons of onesies and sleepers with ZIPPERS!! Oh, and burp rags - there are never enough...........

There is a Sticky at the top of the Expecting Forum that has the "Beginners Tips, Twin Must Have's and Hospital Bag List". Here is a link.

I used that list and found it to be incredibly helpful!!

    Have fun registering!!

We went though this while trying to put together our registry… The best thing we did was enlist the help of a friend who has worked as a doula and also worked at Day One. We took her with us to all the baby stores so she could show us what we needed, make suggestions about individual products, and point out comparisons between items. The whole process still felt a little overwhelming, but it helped a lot! We also checked the list here, the list on the Babies-R-Us site, and a couple lists in books. Mind you, I’m still not confident that I have everything that my wife and I will need…
