I am thinking about getting a jogging stroller for my twins that are on the way. If you have a jogging stroller which one do you have and would you recommend it?

I guess it depends on what you'll use it for. I do not jog with mine, but it is used for walking across varied terrain constantly, and it works great for that. The price is good too. We have the Instep Safari double jogger. I think having a front wheel that can swivel or lock is important. But I don't care so much about how much the stroller weighs, it is pretty much just stored in the garage, I don't fold it up and take it in the car with me.

I have the mountain buggy urban double. I love it, not sure how good of a jogger it is. But as an all terrain stroller it is amazing. It goes over all sorts of bumps with ease. Now that my girls are getting to big for strollers, it is the only one i use.

The Bob Revolution Duallie is wonderful! It's our only stroller and we love it. I use it every day for walks, the zoo, shopping, etc. My husband takes our girls running in it and says it's exactly what he would want in a jogging stroller. The front wheel locks for running and unlocks for regular daily use. Plus, the sunshade is awesome and the girls are completely covered from the sun when needed.

I love my InStep Safari TT Stroller!

I don't actually jog with it but we go on rugged trails and it works wonderfully!

We have a Mountain Buggy Urban Double and we absolutely love it. My sister-in-law bought one (on our recommendation and after doing lots of research on her own) and loves it too.

We don't use it for jogging -- there are probably other strollers that are better for that -- but it's unbeatable for long outdoor walks. It can handle bumpy terrain (gravel roads, etc.) and is super-easy to steer.

Its only drawback (IMO) is that there is just one sunshade to cover both kids -- not a problem when they're babies, but it can be when they get old enough to fight about whether to have it up or down. Also, there is no cupholder or parent "console" (across the back), but we have gotten used to that. They have a decent amount of storage underneath, and it's so easy to steer that I can push while holding coffee.

It is pretty heavy -- even though we have a station wagon, I don't enjoy getting it in & out of the car. But ours mostly stays parked in the garage anyway.

We also had the Instep Safari TT and loved it. We used it for both varied terrain and I jogged with it during my stroller fitness class. It was a great price and I loved the swivel/lock wheel.

Unless the stroller has a way to clip in the infant carseat, jogging strollers are not recommended for babies under 6 months old though. It's too bumpy and they usually don't lay all the way flat.

You might want to seriously consider if these are your only two babies. If you are considering more, I'd buy a stroller that has a toddler seat you can attach later. Just in case....

We have a Burley, we haven't had our twins yet but we had two girls 16 months apart. The downside is you can't really use it until they can hold their heads up. After that it is great! It has an attachment to hook it to the back of your bike also. We've used ours for biking, running, hikes its great! It also has a hard plastic cover to go completely over them, we live in Alaska and in the middle of February when its really cold I've taken them out with some blankets and their snow clothes and they were plenty warm. It is a bit big so you need a big vehicle. I had a Tahoe and now a Suburban so its no problem.

Get the Valco Trimode Twin. It's incredible. Hey, if it's good enough for Julia Roberts and Marcia Cross, it's good enough for me :p

The stroller is gorgeous, use it for running, rough terrain, the mall, wherever. It's heavy like all of the nicer double joggers, but it is just heavy
for that one lift in and out of your car. It will help your arms get buff!!
