Bouncy seats with the play attachments ... they really started to get into these around 3 months
Play-gym mat (I have the Baby Einstein one)
Small toys that rattle (something they can grasp onto)
I attached everything to their bouncy seats, car seats, and stroller with those "links"
Evan loved that simple teething ring thing that looks like colored macoroni strung together (it's really colored plastic looking beads).
    Soft, Krinkle books

Oh - mine also loved to watch Baby Einstein videos!

Tummy time ... mine didn't want anything to do with it until they learned to hold their head up and start to push up.

We used almost all Tiny Love toys. They have a multiples program, buy one get one free and free shipping $50 and up. You can get on their website, but you have to call in your order and fax proof of twins (letter from pedi or birth certs.) We loved the gyms and play mats...actually we loved all the toys! Were still using a lot of them!

Mine liked the Tiny Love "First Book" for tummy time. It has black and white pictures on one side and colored on the other -- it gives them something to look at and a reason to push up.

My love the gym - I have to baby einstein, too, but I added every type of toy you can imagine. They are starting to like those plastic rings. Also, my ds LOVES to look at Christmas lights...I strung a strand (colored) around their window and he loves them.

I also bought those seats that they can sit up in (I forgot what they are called) but, I bought them at Babies r us. They are great. It looks like they are sitting up their own...it is so funny.

We put a baby toy with a mirror facing them when they do tummy time, so they have something interesting to look at - or sometimes I face them towards each other instead. I also have an activity mat that I put in front of them on the ground, or move a toy around in front of them as they're doing their "push-ups".

Other toys they're into are dangling toys (from a baby gym or attached to their bouncy seats), or various rattles, baby books & brightly-coloured toys, as long as someone else holds it for them or keeps putting it back in their hand when they drop it.

Bumbo seats! Yes, I forgot to put that. Mine liked those too.

Bumbo seats, tummy time Boppy, play mat/gym, anything that hangs in front of them (i.e. Lamaze Mobiles etc). Fun time!

We loved our Bumbo seats, and our breakfast in bed tray loaded with toys (sit the Bumbo up next to the tray).

For tummy time, get a mirror and stand it up so they can see themselves. Sassy makes a soft, tummy time mirror, but any mirror will do.

Ours love to look in the mirror. They can catch all sorts of movement in the mirror too!

    Hi,

For belly time around that age, I started putting a mirror in front of the boys so they could lift their heads and see themselves. It really helped them tolerate belly time.

Great suggestion about the mirror during tummy time. I had never thought of that.

For us, these are the toys we use on a daily basis:
Lamaze inch worm (they love it)
Some educational toys DH's family sent from England
Old McDonald finger puppet book (more like a toy)
    Soft, textured books
Play mat by Tiny Love (I think)
Bouncy Chairs (1 Baby Einstein & 1 Fisher Price)
Nursing pillows (they sit in these a lot of the time) - these are also good for tummy time too

And I am sure there is other stuff I am not thinking of.

As a side note, Bex, your 3-month olds are holding their own toys already? WOW!

The girl's hated tummy time, I tried every toy that you could imagine and nothing worked. Once they started holding their heads up they were much happier and about a month later they started rolling - so beware they'll be on the move soon.
