Like anything, it sounds like a user error that is causing this problem. I have two of them and love them despite the fact that they take up too much room. I'll get the kit, but if it's too much work I doubt I'll do anything with it.

It sort of does sound that way but I don't have one so I don't know how difficult it is to get into the fully opened and locked position. My guess is that it must be a pretty valid problem if they are actually recalling 100,000 of them though. I don't think I would take the chance.

Confused...the contempo I have (and the one ordered too) fold up to about 8" deep and 4.5' high...it takes almost no room at all- I checked the model # (3800) are some of them different?

 

love mine too, but I never fold it up anyway. lol. I like the fact that when the babies are grown I can fold it up and keep it around for company. No big deal to store.
