Really low kicks

Ok, so most of the movement has been low, well below my belly button (despite the way my bump has risen high over the last 2-3 weeks and people can't believe I'm only 6 months), but regularly, I get a series of kicks that I feel in the vagina  , like he/she is kicking the cervix. Since I had PTL with my last pregnancy, I am totally paranoid about having it again but I haven't had any spotting. And with the twins, they only made it to 22 wks so I'm not used to all this activity! Hopefully someone else can reassure me that this is normal? I go in for my next OB appt in a week.

Sounds normal to me especially if the baby were to be in a BREECH position. Most babies still arent in their delivery position at 26 weeks....

I've gotten these kinds of kicks in all my pregnancies. I think it can also be a 'punch' though and not a kick!

I was worried about it as well and mentioned it to my Dr. who assured me that it was fine, she told me that woman who have already had a few or a multiple pregnancy tend to have babies that like to hang out lower. All of my girls kicked all over, but most of the movement I get from this little guy had been really low or in the cervix area up until the last few weeks. I have no clue what position he may be in because I still feel low movement but I also feel him right below and off to the side of my belly button.

Most of the movement I've been feeling has been low also.

Remember that the uterus pushes our stomachs and intestines up and out, so the high bump that we have is not the baby. I feel like since I did no abdominal exercise what so ever between pregnancies, my stomach really poped out quickly because the muscles were lax.
My SILs are always touching the tops of my stomach and asking if he's moving yet. I'm like, any movement you might feel there is gas, not baby!

Thanks ladies. I also get kicks/punches low and on the left, my last u/s showed transverse with the head on the left but maybe he/she has shifted.

Ditto about the belly pats...I would rather people not rub my belly (is it for good luck or something?!) but from the movement, the baby's not anywhere near where they pat!

Yeah not too fond of having people touch my stomach, other than my kids and DH anyways. Makes me want to buy that shirt that says "If the baby doesn't kick you I will!" LOL

I have felt the same sensations! I don't remember so many "kicks to the crotch" when I was PG with my twins ... but even during my US they had to get out the vag wand to measure my cervix bc my new little lady was stomping so hard on my cervix that they couldn't get a reading ... they were like ... good thing that cervix is so long and closed! She was pounding on it! I feel like she kicks more and lower than my twins did ... perhaps because she has more room to move around? It is a very strange sensation!
