I recently discovered, that although my twins are 8 weeks, thank g-d, they are ALMOST two months. So does the age go by weeks, or by their birthDATE? I've been counting every Wednesday as the next week, so I assumed that they are 2 months now (being that 8 weeks, is two months, or so I thought....), so I scheduled my 2 month visit today. Now I'm thinking that maybe it goes by their birthdate.....

Get what I'm saying? could someone shed some light here for me please, my brain is a little frazzled as it is!

One month is not exactly 8 weeks, every month is 30 to 31 days (except for February) which makes it 4 weeks plus 2 or 3 days. So you definitely go by birthday.

My FIL counted the girls age by weeks forever...one day he told someone they were 4 months old b/c they were 16 weeks old...I told him they wouldn't be 4 months until the 27th of that month...that is when I realized what he was doing. Just look at your ticker [IMG]

It's by the date. So if they were born on October 1st then they are 1 month on November 1st....etc. etc.....that's actually a GOOD question!

Don't worry I did the same thing, but Joe corrected me. It goes by their birthdate not weeks.
