okay, so my cousin gave me her baby trend pack n play with the bassinet part and everything. here's the deal. we were planning on getting a co-sleeper for the babies to sleep in together for about 3 months (and then switch them to the crib/s), because the co-sleeper holds UP TO 30 pounds. now, the baby trend pack n play says the bassinet part holds LESS THAN 30 pounds. what the heck does that mean? will we be okay with that for a few months? i mean, what's a few pounds? i suppose we can put them in the cribs a little sooner in need be. why spend the money on the co-sleeper if we don't need to, right?
    input? opinions? advice? experience? thanks!

I think you will be good until there combined weight is 30 lbs. I think you will be fine for atleast a couple of months.

I would take the weight restrictions seriously. You wouldn't want something to happen. Why be set on how long they stay in there? Why not just play it by ear, or by weights! Like Melissa said, it should be a bit before they outgrow the bassinette.

I agree, you should be okay for a few months.

i interpret 'less than 30 lbs' to mean the same as anything up to 29 lbs. it should be a while before your little ones are there.

I have a co-sleeper and a pnp, but we hate the co-sleeper because it is sooooo hard to put up and down. If your going to spend the money get two pnp, I wish we did, they will be much more user friendly down the road as they get bigger and you go places, etc.
