really? 18 months?

    i totally don't believe it. i mean, there's no way my girls are 18 months old already. is there?

    :wub: i'm so loving this age - watching them develop new skills seemingly daily, trying to learn new words & communicate with us, their personalities emerging (sometimes vociferously ;) ), it's just really awesome. plus, generally speaking, i'm getting a lot more sleep these days. :laughing:

    what's your favorite thing about the SY year?

    Happy 18-months to your little ones! Mine will be 19 mos. on the 9th:) I LOVE this age too, for all the reasons you described! They are becoming their own people, their personalities are emerging more and more everyday, and they understand so much more than I often give them credit for! And the hugs and kisses... :wub:

    My girls are almost 18 months and I am loving how they are playing with eachother lately. It's so cute to watch them make the other one laugh and is sure making my job easier!! I am so glad they can finally talk and tell me what they want even if they can't have it at least I know what they are asking for. ;)

    I think my favorite part of the SY was watching their little personalities come out and see them learn so much in one year :wub:

    I love to watch how they are soo fascinated with the simplest of things. Everything is so new to them and to watch it in their eyes is incredible. I really wish I could record every day because I don't want to miss a thing. I cannot wait for all of the things to come, oh okay, I'll hold off on the temper tantrums and fights with feedings and bedtimes but other than that, bring it on!!!!! :banana: They are truly amazing!

    We are right behind you -- 18 months at the end of this month. I can't believe it. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I would love to freeze time. My favorite things about the SY:

    Blowing kisses
    giving butterflies
    hearing them say words to me like, "mama, cheese, Hi, Bye."
    seeing them do sign language -- my hard work paid off....

    etc etc.
    too many things to list.
