Pampers were on sale and I had coupons, so I thought wed give them a try again, we used the preemie diapers before. Well I opened a box of 3s and 4s for the girls and wouldnt ya know it, they both get this aweful diaper rash and the darn things leak [IMG]. I dont know if its just a coincidence or if its from the diapers. So I took back an unopened box and am now stuck with 2 boxes of diapers...ugh...anyone know if pampers does refunds or something since their product sucks?

Yuck, sorry about those. I hate leaky diapers. I picked up a package of the cruisers and Huggies Supreme since they were both on sale at Target. I had coupons for both. I think I like the Huggies Supreme better. I think I seem to remember that someone else's child had a reaction to Pampers as well, I think she switched the the Huggies Supreme and was fine. I would check the pampers website and look for a phone number and call them and tell them this, maybe they will send you a refund. Couldn't hurt to try. I bet they would do something for you, they don't want you bad mouthing them to other people.

DD can not wear them. She gets a rash if they even touch her skin. There are a lot of kids i know that havent been able to wear pampers.

We loved Pampers and never had a problem with it. It could be that your daughter is allergic. My friends' daughter was allergic to every diaper except the grocery store generics.

Funny how one diaper works for some and not for others.

Pampers are the only ones I like, and thankfully Wesley does just fine with them. I had to give some Huggies and Luvs to my friend because they didn't do as well as Pampers for me.

my boys develop reactions to the cruisers if they wear them for extended periods of time (weeks)so we switched to babydry and they seem to be doing just fine. we still use the cruisers at night though because they seem to be more absorbent. for once a day wearing they don't seem to develop a reaction.

Well I finally called Pampers today. The lady asked me for a ton of info and has to pass it along to their safety dept. She said to hold onto the diapers for 2 weeks because they may need me to send in the diapers. Otherwise all they are doing is sending me coupons for Luvs [IMG] and Im stuck with 2 barely used boxes that I spent almost $50 on of diapers we cant use [IMG] Thats just what I needed to waste money on diapers when dh doesnt even have a job anymore [IMG]

It was us that had a reaction to Pampers. We LOVED the Swaddlers and the only thing we ever used. Had to move up in size to the Cruisers and within a week Cooper had a horrible rash that I had to take him to the Pedi for. I never imagined it would be the diapers b/c we basically just went up in size but it was. I bought some Huggies Supremes, used some Aquaphor and within 3 days it was almost gone. So there is something in the Cruisers thats not in the Swaddlers. I also contacted Pampers and was VERY nice about it praising their product etc but wanted to know what the diff was b/w the Swaddlers and Pampers. I got a very snotty reply that basically said the rash had to be from something else(new food, detergent etc) b/c it couldn't be the diapers. They do have great diapers(we just unfortunately can't use them) but lousy customer service which speaks volumes! I have e-mailed Huggies twice. Once about the twin discount they give and they replied within a few hours with a very professional, helpful reply. Then I e-mailed them a couple days later b/c I had a pack of size 3 Supremes that had torn tabs on the left side of every diaper. She sent me pre-paid envelope to send them back 2 diapers and some coupons! They are going to look into it. They have extremely helpful Customer Service so I know hands down who gets my business from now on.

My girls can't wear anything but Pampers and Huggies all generics break them out. We use Huggies overnights at night or on long car/plane trips and Pampers cruisers during the day. The last kind of diaper we tried caused Jessy to rash inside her diaper and Jazzy to rash outside her diaper(where it rubbed) [IMG]

So I got a letter in the mail today from P&G, they appologized for the reaction my girls had to pampers and attached was 6 coupons for free diapers, whole packs free [IMG] There were 3 free Jumbo packs and 3 free Mega packs! Now I feel so much better, I was so mad that I had $45 in unusuable diapers and now they definatly made it up to me [IMG]

I think it is a little harsh to say their product sucks, it just doesn't work for you. Ironically, Pampers were the only thing that worked for us! I guess that is why it is soo wonderful that there are soo many different brands out there, something for everyone!

Glad they did good by you, I am assuming you didn't tell them their product sucks when you were contacting them?

I dont think it was too harsh to say their products sucks, it did, it broke my girls out in an AWFUL rash, worse than just a little diaper rash, so to me their diapers do suck. And yes I did tell the lady that I was extremely disappointed and felt their product was awful, Im not about sugercoating things when I feel a certain way...I just think that if Im going to spend so much extra money I should expect to not have any problems.

No matter what diapers I use and I have used them all on the market generic and name brand they all leak on me. Both my kids get up wet more times than not. They weigh 15 and 16 lbs now and are in size 3's. I thought about going up in size but when I have done that in the past it doesn't help either so I don't know I just do alot of laundry.
Sorry about the diapers that broke out your kids.

I would contact the company and tell them that you aren't satisfied with their product etc. etc. Most people have a satisfaction guarantee....worth a try!!
