Is this just me or what? But lately, I'd say for the past week and a half, I've been extremely hungry. I guess the nausea is gone (somewhat because I feel it if I don't eat) but lately as soon as I get home (at about 3 or 4) I have to eat (and I mean, eat, not snack, its gotta be a good lunch portion) and then about 2 hours later I have dinner. It seems like these babies keep eating. My DH said he thought I was feeding one, then an hour later feeding the other, then another hour later feeding myself. :D

By the way, I'm still only in my first trimester. My ticker says I'm 11 weeks but the babies are measuring 7 weeks (I'll change that once I get another u/s and find out for sure).

I was also ravenous (and not sick at all) during my first trimester. Of course I was also breastfeeding until I was 10 weeks! I ate like a horse and gained zip, zero, not one pound! Which I loved because this was during the Thanksgiving, Christmas season.

Honestly, I'm much less hungry now than I was then.

The last two days I've been VERY hungry! These babies must be going through a growth spurt!!

When I was at your stage I was also constantly hungry, what did help was having high protein foods! They tended to fill me up quicker.

Here is to no guilt eating!! :D

I was VERY hungry at the beginning, I could eat and eat and eat. Then at around 7 weeks I started getting the all day sickness. It only lasted a couple weeks and after that the eating was on again. I could never get full no matter how much I ate and then two hours later I was hungry again. I also remember feeling like when I was hungry I WAS HUNGRY. I would go from 0 to starving there was no in between.

A friend of mine called it "Evil Hungry" and she's right! I would get so hungry so fast that I literally could not wait the 2 minutes until the microwave heated something up or would get mad at my DH for standing in front of the cabinet where the plates are. He would be doing the dishes and I would get mad at him! How irrational is that??? I kept (and still keep) a lot of quick and high-impact foods. This PG my favorite snack has been yogurt. We've been buying low-fat organic yogurt so at least I am getting calcium without many additives. I would eat the yogurt while waiting for my food to heat up!

I find that i can eat almost every 2-3 hours, but all my meals are small...if i eat to much to quickly i feel yucky! The most common sentence out of my mouth lately is "I'm hungry"!!

I took a pregnancy test because I started noticing I was starving all the time. The final straw was when I started to cry because all we had to eat for dinner was chicken, and I did NOT want chicken. I thought "crying over chicken is not normal" so I took a pregnancy test and sure enough it was positive. I was absolutely ravenous every meal, before I found out there were twins. I thought I was just gaining a lot of weight due to the hunger, and then I found out there were 2! The hunger has started to slow down a little bit, but I'm not sure if it's actually slowed down or if I'm just more used to it now.
