Sofie had a rash on her va-jay-jay ;) last week, it was about 2 days after I gave them some whole wheat pancakes. It was awful I felt so bad for her she cried when I wiped her, it was our first rash. It wasnt there at one diaper change and then it was there at the next 2 hrs later.

Well now its back! Again, it came out of nowhere and again they had pancakes 2 days ago. I cant think of what is new or different but they have had plenty of wheat before with no effects.

And I dont think its yeast because I had doc check it out when I brought her in for her ear infection on Friday (so now she's on antibiotics) and it looks the same as that one. Really freakin sore looking!

Do you think its the pancakes??

Might be the eggs in the pancakes? or the milk..

I hope it gets better soon!! I hate those rashes!! :(

Yeah, maybe it's the egg in the pancakes or some ingredient in the pancakes that she's allergic to.

There was no milk or eggs in the pancakes, they are organic so no crap either. I made them with water and peach applesauce and blueberry applesauce.

It really stinks because they were expensive and a big hit (and easy since I cant cook)! Maybe I'll just try a different kind. :pardon:

If she is on antibiotics that can cause yeast infections. Does she eat yogurt? I'd give her some and just keep an eye on it. It might just be coincidence too. :hug99: I'm dealing with a rash on one of my girl's vajajay (hehe- I use that term too) and I've been putting her in dresses without a diaper and giving her lots of air time. It seems to be helping a bit.

I was thinking yeast infection as well. Kaylyn had one not too long ago, and I took her to the pedi and she said that it was very common in infants. The prescribed an Rx topical ointment (the name of it is escaping me right now) and it cleared up really quick. I hope she feels better soon!!
