    Hi ladies,

I'm starting to get a little rash underneath both of my boobs. It's really itchy and feels sore. I'm thinking it's due to my boobs lying on my big belly and the skin not being able to breathe. Anyone else have this and if so, what did you use to get rid of it?

    Thanks!

Its probably just what you described.

I do have to ask you one question though: Have you been around anyone with Chicken Pox lately? If so, please see your doctor.

I had shingles in that exact location and was told to stay away from pregnant women, little kids & old people. Shingles is a relative of the Chicken Pox virus, which is why I asked about your exposure. For the record: I had a really mild case of Chix Pox as a 3 yr old, so I'm proof you can have chix pox and still get shingles.

A few hints it might be shingles: Is it in a strip right where the bottom of your bra sets? (Might look like its starting at your sternum or from the center of your back and goes around your body like your abdominal muscles do) Yellow crusties on top of the rash?

I had that rash in the end of my last pregnancy, during the hot summer. My doctor gave me something for it, I can't rememger what he called it, but it was a type of skin yeast infection. Sounds gross, I know, but he gave me a cream and it cleared right up. I only had one really comfy bra at the time and would wear it a few too many days between washing (yuck sorry), but he said that probably caused it.

Thank you ladies. I have an appt. with my OB tomorrow so I'll have to discuss it with her. There are no bumps....it's just red, itchy and sore.

I have that same exact thing. I've actually used the prescription diaper rash cream that I had from my twins. I think it works for yeast infections so it helped a lot. I also try to put baby powder on it before I get dressed. But, it's not pleasant.

What about Desitin? Should I try that?

Corn starch. Put a ton of it on several times a day. Once the moisture is absorbed it will go away. If that doesnt work for some reason use Vagisil extra strength cream it will work for sure!
