rash on chin

    my LO has a bad rash on his chin. it think its from his excessive drooling.
    is there something i can put on it at night?

    oooh, I HATED this! My dd had that! I honestly didn't find anything in particular that helped more than anything else. I did try to keep it dry as much as possible and would put some antibiotic cream at night.

    I used triple antibiotic ointment and that helped or believe or not lanisoh breast ointment worked too.

    I always found Aquafor worked quite well.

    Aquaphor, Eucerine or zinc-o-fax

    Aquaphor, but you have to make sure his chin is dry before you put it on. I usually pat my boys' chins dry w/ a burp rag while lying down and then slather the stuff on to create a water proof barrier.

    A nice coating of good ol' Vaseline will help make a nice protective water proof barrier.

    I loved Johnson and Johnson's Baby Face Balm stick. We still use it on sore noses from too much nose blowing. It smells great too! :)
