Ranitidine

We are putting my little guy on this for acid reflux. I was reading about some of the SE and wondering if any of you ladies who have tried it noticed anything.

ds didnt have any issues with it, other than it not working lol

 

We haven't had any issues here, one of my boys has been on it since his 2 month appt and he is completely fine, and it has been a lifesaver for us along with the Dr Brown's bottles.

 

we haven't noticed side effects. then again i'm also not sure it's helping but we just adjusted the dosage on our ped's advice.

prevacid, on the other hand, gave them serious gas and constipation as side effects.

 

I noticed that they started to drool when I first gave it to them when they were 1 month old. It's not normally something that happens at that age so I'm guessing it was a side effect.

 

Both DD and DS are on it and I do not see any side affects and it does work for us.

 

Only one dd was on this and she also was the only one who would occasionally get slight diaper rash. The ranitidine being the only difference in what the two ingested I chalked it up to that. But it worked wonderfully and we just treated the mild rash.
