We always joke that Justin will be an engineer or inventor of some kind. He can pick anything up for the 1st time, toy, daddy's tools, etc, and just know exactly how it works. He has been like this since he was a toddler! Well, we went to Sonic the other day and *I* got a grilled cheese kids meal. I had thrown the little toy on the kitchen island without paying attention to it (I rarely let them get kids meals and up until about a year ago they didn't even know they came with toys - hate all those small junky toys all over!). They were in the yard playing yesterday while I was cleaning the kitchen and I noticed it. It was a little top. I knew they would like it, I took it out and tried to make it work - I even had directions, no go  I must have played with this stupid thing for 10 minutes trying to figure out what they meant by, 'just rev it up a few times & watch it spin'! Justin happened to find it this morning when he was getting an apple. Not a minute later, there he was 'just revving it up and watching it spin' :umm:

I always chalk those moments up to you have to have a kids brain to operate those little junk toys

Keegan was playing on the computer one day when my mom was over and came running out telling us it was broken. My mom goes in and tries to help him get it working, but wasn't having any luck. I came in to try and help them and just as I got there Keegan fixed it himself! I'm convinced he knew how to fix it all along and just wanted us to see him fix it! I swear that kid was computer savvy right out of the womb!

That's so funny you mention having a Sonic. It's like a religion here. Everytime we see a Sonic we almost always have to stop and get a drink . It's part of our normal routine, so I'm not sure what I would do without a Sonic.

That's funny, we didn't have them in South FL and I'd only vaguely heard of them. When we went for the 1st time I loved it - we don't do much fast food - but they have such different stuff and I absolutely love the cokes with real cherry flavoring - yum! Maybe you'll just have to come down the week before SP & drive back up with us :p

I have actually only been to one but see the commercials all the time during the races. When I went to Knoxville for the concert a couple years ago my only requirement was we had to find a Sonic so I could try it out, we did!! Darn school and work.................would love to!!! Someday maybe!! Soo many chains/restaurants work their way up here why can't Sonic??? Or at least stop showing us commercials since we don't have any!!!!

    Sorry to hijack sweetie!

I knew I was in trouble the first time J said "actually, mommy, it's really ....." H also seemed to come out of the womb with gadget knowledge. Sometimes I wonder if there's a school designed to help moms get that on-the-fly knowledge we need
