Rainy Day Fun!

It has been raining all week and our parks are soggy! I never thought I'd say this, but today there was NOTHING I needed or wanted at Target so the boys and I were stuck at home all day. We played a lot in the morning and they helped me do laundry. This afternoon they wouldn't nap! After playing with Play Doh and eating snack they seemed bored. I pulled out the paints and for the first time let them paint w/out being in the high chair. My parents got them the art table for Christmas and it was great! I laid a towel down underneath and they stayed still and painted for about 30 mins! They had a blast! It wasn't a bad clean up either. I washed their hands at the sink and they headed off to bed! What a great afternoon!

Wow I'm super impressed! There is no way my girls wouldn't try to walk off and paint the couch or walls! Your boys are great artists

What a great day!!!! That video was adorable. It looks like they really enjoyed that. Ryan really wanted to try that paine :laughing:. So cute.

You're brave!!!! I've yet to paint with them at home. They get to do all the fun, artsy stuff at daycare & I don't have to worry about clean up ! Hopefully those paintings are hanging on a wall somewhere because it looks like they were doing a GREAT job!!
