Radio Flyer Trikes

Okay, my twins got the fold-up radio flyer trikes for their first birthday, almost 2 years ago. Now, both of the trikes front tire is splitting open. So, now you can see the white plastic inside. It is hard for them to ride because the wheel can't get good traction. Has this happened to anyone's radio flyer trike's? We use them a lot, so maybe we have just worn them out. I just never thought that would happen in less than 2 years.

 

We've had ours for nearly 3 years and they didn't do that... hmm

 

We've had ours for a year now and this has not happened to ours. That's strange.

 

Contact the company. Certainly there has to be a warranty on a product of Radio Flyer's reputation....

 

Yes! We had the same problem. I don't know what caused it but I've heard from other people that it is common. We actually screwed the tires together. I'd still call the company anyway. We've just decided to move on to two wheelers with training wheels instead.

 

I think I will contact the company. I do not plan on buying replacement parts though as they are more interested now in their scooters and other ride-ons. It still makes me mad though that they didn't even last 2 years.
