R.I.P. Tony

Found out this morning at 6:30AM that my ex and twin babies father was found dead in his car Sunday night. His roommate called me yesterday asking if I'd seen him cause no one had heard from him since Sunday at 6pm. We called the jails with no luck- we're still waiting for the autopsy report.

The reason we are no longer together was because we couldn't treat each other right. I didn't want my children growing up thinking how mommy and daddy treat each other is OK.
I can't explain how I feel right now. I don't even think they make words for these feelings. I'm shaky, holding back vomit and trying to take deep breaths so I don't go into pre-term labor.

Just hug your DH or DBF and let them know you love them today.

I'm going down to Orange County now to be with people who knew him and hopefully I and these babies will get through this okay. Please keep all of my loved ones in your prayers. And don't take advantage of anything. I can gladly and proudly say I have not...

A little update: It's being investigated by Homicide but they have ruled out cause of death by homicide. It is looking like a drug overdose with foul play. Meaning someone knows what happened to him. There were bruises and cuts all over his body like he was tossed from a car.


He wasn't some stand up dude. But there I did have unconditional love for the man- it's nice to see people come together who cared about him regardless of what they thought about the decisions he has been making these past few months.


I'm meeting his mom today to pick up all of his stuff and go to the coroner's office to pick up the property that he was wearing today.
I'm preventing myself from getting too worked up because I don't want to go into PTL or start having contractions.

I think God took him so that no one would have to deal with the wreckage and pain he causes. I believe that he is gone so that his children didn't grow up to have an inconsistent father in and out of prison due to drug addiction.
I get to raise my son and daughter to be the people I thought he should have been.....

Thanks for the update! I am sure, even though you were not with him, this is very hard for you to deal with as he is the father of your twins. It is very hard- harder because I was not with him. The babies seem to be taking it okay. It was very difficult to eat the first few days but it gets easier as the days continue. I have had a lot of distractions (planning for the memorial and good friends that keep me laughing).
