Hi everyone, I’m looking for some input about upgrading the water setup in our office kitchen. Right now we use a mix of kettles and a standard cooler, and it’s starting to feel messy and inefficient. The counter space is limited, and having multiple appliances out all the time doesn’t really help. Noise is another concern, since the kitchen is close to working areas and meeting rooms. We’re also trying to make it easier for people to access hot and cold water without waiting around. Ideally, we’d like something that feels built into the space rather than added on. If anyone has experience with under-counter water systems in an office, I’d be interested to hear how they work day to day.

We had very similar requirements when we reviewed our setup, and switching to an under-counter solution made a noticeable difference. Installing a billi tap allowed us to keep all the main components under the counter, which instantly freed up surface space. The tap provides filtered water in different temperatures from a single point, so we no longer needed separate devices. One thing that stood out was how quietly the system operates, which mattered a lot in a shared office environment. Having everything connected directly to the mains also removed the need for bottle storage. Overall, it felt more suited to regular, everyday use by a larger team.

As offices change and shared spaces become busier, water systems often need to adapt as well. Built-in taps are increasingly considered where space, noise, and convenience all matter. Reducing clutter on counters can improve how kitchens are used throughout the day. Quiet operation is especially important in modern open-plan offices. These discussions usually focus on practicality rather than features alone. In many cases, the goal is simply to make everyday routines smoother.
