Quick question regarding 6 mo pictures!

Does anyone else overanalyze EVERYTHING? It drives me insane I am so afraid of not making the memories "Just right", which is silly because the memories are more "memorable" when they are not perfect!

Anyway

6 mo pictures this weekend. Gonna do some xmas shots and regular 6 mo shots.

DD and DS's outfits are both pants, not really formal...do I put just socks on them? Shoes? I dont even have shoes, but I suppose I could buy some...

And in her non xmas outfit, its a light green courderoy dress, with tights...shoes, or no shoes with the tights?? Why is this so hard?

I obsess about this stuff too. I say if you have cute shoes then wear them. But don't go out of your way to go out and buy them. The last pictures we got, my daughter had shoes and my son didn't. I don't even really notice now, and I obsessed at the time too...

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy shoes if you're not going to use them either.

We didn't really do a 'Christmas' shot, but just 9 months shots (which went very badly so we only got one non cry shot of each). They had shoes and socks, but it's the regular shoes I use when we go out (robeez soft ones). I didn't buy anything just for the shots (and man I'm glad I didn't, lol).

 

Something about bare feet and all ten little piggies showing looks very classic and sweet I think.

Ditto. I love bare-footed babies!!

 

IMO there is nothing cuter than bare baby feet.

 

I like baby barefoot pictures. Ours didn't have shoes or socks until our 1 yr pics and only then because it was dressier and more wintery clothes. I might have gone with shoes if you had some over the tights but I wouldn't go buy any just for pics.

We don't have the 12 month ones up yet it was just this weekend.

I didn't even buy mine shoes until they could walks. Socks & toes are very cute in pics.
