Quick Help Please!

    We've really never had issues with constipation until this week. I'm going to give juice for the first time, and their bottles are due soon.

    Do I give juice mixed with milk/formula - what ratio?

    Or straight juice? Or diluted juice? Or juice, then a bottle, or not bottle since the constipation?

    I'm sure I'm making this more complicated than it is, but please let me know the best way!

    When I give the girls juice I mix 2oz of baby prune juice with 2oz of water. Then I give them their regular bottles after that, they may not drink it all since they've just had 4 oz of juice. Good Luck.

    Mine were young with this issue, so we did 1/2 ounce juice to 1/2 ounce water.

    Our doc said start with 2 oz. we did that 2x a day and within a day or two things were moving along nicely!

    We were told 1/2 water and half pear juice. The doctor said Pear would be better than Prune!

    I ditto that. Dr and midwife both said pear is better.

    my pedi says pear juice too...just mix a couple of ounces w/ water.

    I know u were asking about juice, but the baby food prunes works/worked really well for my girls, we still use it now for desserts some nights they love it
