Quick Brag...

    Last week we were in Chicago with the girls. I was at a work conference all day Thurs and Friday and DH was on his own with the girls. They were walking along and came upon a life size cardboard picture of President Obama. It happened to be right next to some advertisement for Barbie's 50th birthday. Guess who the girls knew!!! They started chanting "President Obama! Thats President Obama!" When DH pointed to Barbie they had no idea who she was! There were a couple older ladies who witnessed this and according to DH got a good laugh out of it :laughing:!

    BTW, I love Barbie too and plan on getting them Barbies when they get older if they express interest in it, so I'm not anti-Barbie at all. I'm just happy that our attempts at shielding them from commercial TV seems to be working so far ;) /brag off

    I was reviewing my dd's homework the other day. She had a colum where she had to write 5 letter words. Her first one was.....OBAMA! :D

    It is!!! We like to say "OBAMA-RAMA!" I have to get it on video because the way the girls say it (with lot of excitement) is just the cutest!

    My kids decided that THIS is "ROCK OBAMA's" house the other day. At one point "Rock Obama" was on my shoulders :laughing: You had to be here, but I was crying I was laughing so hard!
